Terina McIntyre has a decade of State service tenure in which she has served in leadership capacities . Currently she serves as the Director of Community Relations for the Texas Center for Infectious Disease, an affiliate of the Department of State Health Services and the Board Liaison for the center’s Volunteer Services Council, a non-profit 501(c)3. As Director, her passion for helping people charges her to create strategic corporate alliances and community partnerships that garner supplemental financial support for patient care. Closely following that goal she works tirelessly to increase public awareness of tuberculosis through stop the stigma initiatives. Her ultimate goal being the continued enhancement of the holistic patient experience.

Prior to her State Service, she dedicated 10 years to  Methodist Healthcare Ministries as the Program Replication Manager for its parenting programs division that focused on enriching the lives of teen parents and parents of special needs children through education, empowerment, and support.

Ms. McIntyre is an alumnus of Our Lady of the Lake University’s Worden School of Social Service.
