Project Cool- Fans for the Elderly
Project Summary:
A large amount of our elderly population here in San Antonio cannot afford Air Conditioning in their home. As you can imagine, many fans are needed to help keep them cool. The board has approved that the club will support the purchase of (50) fans, with the membership hopefully contributing (25) through donations. The fans are $19.88 (Lasko 20" Box Fan) Walmart #551129377.
If you would like to have Ruby charge your account for the cost of your donation, please let her know. You can also purchase the fans and bring them to the meeting and Kate, Sabrina, Ruby or another Board member will take care of it, so...if you like to shop, we got you covered. (50) Fans have were delivered on August 15, 2017!
Buffalo Soldiers Association Backpack Drive

The board has approved that the club will support the purchase of (125) Backpacks to support the Back to School Project of the Bexar County Buffalo Soldiers.
